Mary Anne Amorim is a strategic thinker, visionary leader, with nearly 2 decades of leadership experience in International Trade – Maritime Industry, Technology Education and Social Entrepreneurship. She has worked in 2 different Countries, holding multiple CEO/President roles in businesses ranging from $3MM to $2B in sales.
Mary Anne Amorim worked for 11 years for MSC – Mediterranean Shipping Company in Brazil. By the age of 32, and a mother of 4 kids, she took over the CEO/President position of the group in Brazil, controlling a $2B sales operation and one thousand employees.
By the age of 37, after a leave of absence, and in search for more inner alignment with her desire to impact families through education she served for 2 years as the CEO for Lego Education exclusive distributor in Brazil – ZOOM Education. From that experience she noticed the opportunity and need for ECD – Early Childhood Development methodologies addressed to vulnerable and disadvantaged families in Brazil. After a successful fundraise of $3MM with IADB – InterAmerican Development Bank, she launched a private social business aiming to help parents to understand and engage in Early Childhood Development – PUPA.

The methodology was awarded in 2014 as one of the best in world by LEGO Foundation/ASHOKA global challenge “Re-Imagine Learning”. She was also nominated a “Change-Maker” by Ashoka. Despite the success of the methodology, the company faced tremendous financial challenges and it is currently redesigning its business model.
From being passionate about human development in early years it was natural to evolve to human development and leadership coach with all its potential to transformation and impact.

Mary Anne Amorim currently lives in the USA and work as an Executive Leadership Coach and board member for some for-profit and not-for-profit companies.
What is Leadership Coaching?
Coaching is a craft of asking powerful questions that carry the seeds of explorations to reveal our best traits, strengths, weakness and beliefs responsible for progress and transformation or stagnation and stress! Coaching is letting the clients take the leadership of their learnings, expectations, dreams and goals. Through letting the clients take the lead to their learning journey, the coach creates and maintain a safe space of trust, intimacy and curiosity. The work is protected by the highest standards of confidentiality, in accordance with the norms and rules of ICF - International Coach Federation.
How the Session Works
Coaching is co-designing a taylormade fasttrack to achieve the client’s goals, dreams, advances and even transformation! It uses powerful questions to ignite creative thinking, through curiosity and exploration.

The length of the work is decided between the coach and client, in accordance with the client’s needs and expectations.

During the sessions, aspects of the past and present are approached in order to increase awareness and look at a situation from multiple angles. This exploration evokes change, allowing to re-imagine a future with authenticity, presence, power and freedom!

Aiming sustainable and long-lasting transformation, tools and resources are crafted according to the client’s needs, will and availability, but the full engagement and accountability from the client is mandatory in order to achieve the desired outcomes.
